The 12 Week Experience
The 12 Week Experience
A concierge-level wellness experience for older adults, delivered live wherever your community gathers.
Not simply as a time of year, but as a landscape filled with recognizable patterns of life.
Emergence and growth. Activity and fullness. Change and release. Stillness and restoration.
Over twelve weeks, residents explore these patterns through an intentionally sequenced series of embodied experiences.
One season. Twelve experiences.
The season provides the larger story. Each week reveals another part of it.
Residents may encounter an idea through imagery or conversation before experiencing it through gentle movement, breath, meditation, mantra, mudra, sensory elements, or reflection.
One week leads into the next. Gradually, twelve individual experiences become one complete journey. And because the natural world is always changing, each seasonal experience offers a different journey.
Spring · Summer · Autumn · Winter
Every session has an intentional arc.
We begin with an idea.
A natural image, observation, question, story, or symbol opens the week's theme and gives us something to become curious about.
The idea moves from thought into physical experience.
Accessible chair-based movement and breath invite residents to explore the week's theme through sensation, rhythm, posture, motion, and rest.
The experience becomes quieter.
Meditation, mantra, mudra, imagery, sensory practices, or contemplative reflection allow residents to encounter the theme from another perspective.
We gather the experience together.
The session closes with reflection, stillness, or a simple idea residents can carry with them beyond the hour.
Idea → Body → Experience → Integration
No single modality defines Body, Breath & Being.
Instead, practices are selected according to the experience being created.
Gentle Chair-Based Movement
Accessible movement brings attention into the body through range of motion, rhythm, posture, sensation, and rest.
Breathwork
Simple breathing practices create opportunities to notice rhythm, attention, expansion, release, and stillness.
Meditation
Guided and quiet practices invite attention, observation, imagination, and presence.
Mudra
Accessible hand positions offer another physical language for attention and intention.
Mantra
Simple words and sounds can provide rhythm, focus, participation, and reflection.
Sensory Experience
When appropriate, imagery, sound, natural objects, or aromatic elements can add another dimension to the experience.
Reflection
Brief prompts and moments of contemplation connect the practice with residents' own observations and lived experience.
Body, Breath & Being was created specifically with older adults in mind.
Every experience can be completed from a chair.
Movement is invitational rather than performative.
Participation can be adapted.
Stillness is as valuable as movement.
Observation is participation.
There is no expectation that everyone will experience a practice in the same way.
Residents are always invited to make the experience their own.
Live, guided wellness experiences created especially for older adults.
Each Body, Breath & Being series combines gentle chair-based movement, breathwork, meditation, mantra, and mudra with a thoughtfully designed companion workbook residents can use throughout the experience.

A 12-Week in person journey brought into your community live via Zoom
Each week, I visit your community to guide residents through a 60-minute Body, Breath & Being experience. The sessions follow one thoughtfully designed season, with a different theme each week. Gentle chair-based movement, breath, meditation, and reflection give residents several ways to encounter that theme.
The in-person experience also includes an optional botanical aroma invitation. A scent may recall a landscape, a memory, or a quality of the season: the freshness of pine in Winter, the arrival of blossoms in Spring, or the fullness of a summer garden. Residents who wish to participate can explore the aroma individually. Those who prefer a scent-free experience take part in every other aspect of the session.
Your 12-week in person experience includes:

Before we begin
We start with a planning conversation about your community, the residents you serve, your space or technology, and the best time for a weekly gathering. I provide the seasonal program calendar and printable companion workbook before the series begins.
Thoughtful adaptation
Every practice can be experienced from a chair, and residents are welcome to move, rest, observe, or reflect in the way that suits them. For in-person sessions, we also discuss your community’s scent policies before offering any optional, individual aroma experiences.
Working with your staff
One staff contact helps coordinate the schedule and welcome residents each week. For virtual sessions, your community provides a screen and Zoom connection; for in-person sessions, an accessible room with chairs. Your team can print the companion materials for residents who wish to use them.
Each week
I guide a live, 60-minute experience built around a theme within the season. Residents encounter that theme through gentle movement, breath, meditation, and reflection, with a corresponding workbook page or prompt to carry the experience beyond our time together.
Before deciding whether Body, Breath & Being belongs in your community, experience it.
Request a complimentary 15-minute introduction so residents and staff can meet Dee and experience a brief Body, Breath & Being practice. Introductions are available live by Zoom for any community. For communities in and around Tucson considering the in-person experience, an on-site introduction may be arranged based on location and availability.
No full class. No commitment. Just an introduction.
Come experience what Body, Breath & Being feels like.
